Sweaters

Well, since I made a sweater for D4 - which was really by accident. I had started making one for a 6 month old, but the yarn and extra stitches made it WAY larger than I had anticipated! I used a boucle and was not about to rip all of that out--what a pain! So...I finished it for my 3 year old!

So, of course I need to make one for my 6 year old and 7 year old. I taught myself a new stitch. I actually found this stitch while looking though a book...she called it a "textured stitch" similar to thermal undies (?!). It was for a tea cozy. I really like the stitch...it looks like a seed stitch to me. So, I thought that I would try it. I really like it and after the sewaters are done, maybe I'll make my daughter and son-in-law a tea cozy!!
